ARC brings to you a range of kitchenswith the objective of creating exclusive design and finish that are synonymous with quality and functionality.
Modular kitchens come in multiple shapes, styles and arrangements. But one thing remains common across all of them – the Kitchen work triangle. The kitchen work triangle is a concept used to determine efficient kitchen layouts. The primary tasks in a home kitchen are carried out between the cook top, the sink and the refrigerator.
These three points and the imaginary lines between them make up what kitchen experts call the work triangle.
This basic, scientific and global principle has been used in designing ergonomics and functionality by the world leaders in the kitchen industry over the years.
The idea behind this is quite simple - you should be able to draw a triangle between the 3 ‘work centres’ of the kitchen:
1) The hob – A place where the food is cooked.
2) The refrigerator - A place which is most likely to store the food.
3) The kitchen sink - A place where the food is cleaned and prepared for cooking.
Ideally, the distance between these 3 work centres should be fixed in the kitchen. According to ergonomic norms, the 3 sides of the triangle should be between 1.2 metres and 2.7 metres (i.e. between 4 feet and 9 feet), adding up to a total of between 4 metres and 7.9 metres (i.e. between 13 feet and 26 feet). The kitchen work triangle is based on the insight that you are likely to perform several different tasks to prepare a meal. Our modular kitchens are designed keeping the kitchen work triangle as their fulcrum. Offering you an extremely efficient kitchen experience.

U-shaped kitchens are often a preference of homeowners with a large kitchen space as it requires three adjacent walls. Many homeowners use the space in the middle to feature a kitchen island for food preparation and extra storage.
L-shaped kitchens are known to maximise corner spaces, and is a smart design for small and medium sized kitchens. The versatile L-shaped kitchen consists of countertops on two adjoining walls that are perpendicular to each other.
Gallery kitchen design features a traditional layout with common components. These kitchens generally have a narrow passage situated between two parallel walls.
The Parallel kitchen is perhaps the most efficient of all kitchens in terms of designing as per the necessity. Its layout resembles a two way galley minus a wall. It consists of a work space on one wall with a free standing workspace running parallel to it.
